Diplomas

The Master of Science in Osteopathy delivered by Buckinghamshire New University (BNU).
The DO diploma.

The training and education is in English in Sweden and focusses on physiotherapists and medical doctors.

After having successfully completed the 30 modules you get, after 4 years, the Master of Science in Osteopathy.

In Year 1 and 2 you follow 7 modules.
In Year 3 and 4 you follow 8 modules.

The flexibility of our training model gives you the opportunity to adapt the study duration to your personal wishes.

You will not only obtain the Master of Science in Osteopathy delivered by Buckinghamshire New University (BNU), London-England, but also the DO degree! 

Each module deals with a body region on a theoretical and practical level.

Everything you are taught can be immediately put into practice. After each module you not only learned new techniques, but you also gained knowledge and experience.

The master module (thesis + presentation) can be followed in the 4th year but can be taken on in an additional 5th year as well.

Year 1

  • Osteopathic principles and the iliosacral joint.
  • Introduction to visceral osteopathy & the pelvic organs.
  • Neurology 1.
  • The lumbar spine.
  • Cranial 1.
  • Integration 1.
  • Clinical work & practical exam.

Year 2

  • The sacroiliac joint.
  • The thoracic spine and the ribs.
  • The kidneys and the adrenal glands.
  • Neurology 2.
  • Cranial 2.
  • Integration 2.
  • Clinical work & practical exam.

Year 3

  • The hip & the knee.
  • The ankle & the foot.
  • The liver & the gallbladder & the diaphragm.
  • Practical exam & oesophagus, stomach, pancreas and spleen.
  • The intestines.
  • Cranial 3.
  • Integration 3.
  • Clinical work & practical exam.

Year 4

  • The cervical spine.
  • The shoulder, the elbow, the wrist and the hand.
  • The heart, the lungs and the thyroid.
  • Practical exam & clinical work.
  • Cranial 4.
  • Neurology 3: cranial nerves.
  • Integration 4.
  • Clinical work & practical exam.
